Key Points for After-Hours Trading Session of Domestic Stock Futures
- For stock futures contracts based on individual stocks (hereinafter referred to as "single stock futures"), the futures price used for margin calculation during the after-hours trading session is based on the daily settlement price of the previous regular trading session. If an adjustment to the single stock futures contract takes effect during the after-hours trading session, the opening reference price of that session will be used for calculation.
- Single stock futures may be temporarily suspended from trading during the after-hours session if the underlying securities are halted by the stock exchange or if the issuing company of the underlying securities holds a press conference to disclose significant information. Traders should pay attention to relevant important announcements and monitor their positions and margin status accordingly.
