Notice of the End of Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. and Europe

The U.S. markets will end Daylight Saving Time (switch to Standard Time) starting from Monday, November 3, with both market opening and closing times delayed by one hour (open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 a.m. the next day, Taiwan time).

The European markets will end Daylight Saving Time starting from Monday, October 27, with futures trading sessions on various exchanges also delayed by one hour.

Due to the difference in the end dates of Daylight Saving Time between the U.S. and Europe, the trading hours for certain products will be adjusted during October 27 – October 31 as follows:

Sugar No.11 (SB): New York time 4:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (Taiwan time 4:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.)
Coffee (KC): New York time 5:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (Taiwan time 5:15 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.)
Cocoa (CC): New York time 5:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (Taiwan time 5:45 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.)
White Sugar (LSB): London time 8:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Taiwan time 4:45 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.)
For Brent Crude Oil and Gasoline, during the above period, both opening and closing times will be moved one hour earlier as follows:

Monday: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. the next day
Tuesday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. the next day

Tokyo Financial Exchange (TFX)   06:55–05:55  (Opens early at 06:10 on Monday and closes early at 05:00 on Friday)
